These terms are an agreement between you and SeekMyHeart. By creating an account you accept them, together with our privacy policy and community guidelines.
1. Who can use SeekMyHeart
You must be at least 18 years old, able to enter a binding agreement, and not previously banned from SeekMyHeart. You may have only one account.
2. Your account
Keep your login details secure and tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed your account. You are responsible for activity on your account.
3. Your content
You own the photos and text you add. You give SeekMyHeart permission to store and display them to other members as part of the service, according to your settings. You must have the right to share everything you upload, and it must follow our community guidelines.
4. Your conduct
You agree to follow the community guidelines. We may remove content, suspend or close accounts that break them, and we may keep records of what happened to protect other members.
5. Free and Premium membership
- Creating a profile, matching and messaging your matches are free.
- Premium plans, their features, prices and durations are shown on the pricing page before you pay.
- Premium starts only after your payment is confirmed. For bank transfers, this happens after our team verifies the payment has been received.
- Premium lasts for the period you paid for and does not renew automatically.
- If you cancel, you keep Premium until the end of the period you paid for.
- Our refund policy will be set out here before Premium goes on sale. This does not affect your rights under Nigerian consumer protection law.
6. Safety
We provide safety tools and review reports, but we do not run criminal background checks on members, and a verified badge does not guarantee anyone's identity, honesty or intentions. You are responsible for your interactions with other members, online and in person. Please read our safety guide.
7. Compatibility estimates
Compatibility scores and recommendations are estimates based on information members provide. They are not a promise that a relationship will happen or succeed.
8. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from your settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, SeekMyHeart is not liable for the conduct of members or for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Changes and governing law
We will give notice of important changes to these terms. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
