Draft document
We want everyone to be able to use SeekMyHeart, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology.
Our goal
We are designing SeekMyHeart to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we do
- Text and controls are designed to meet WCAG contrast requirements.
- Every feature can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
- Pages use proper headings, labels and landmarks for screen readers.
- Status is never shown by colour alone.
- Animations are reduced when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Buttons and links are large enough to tap comfortably on a phone.
Current status
SeekMyHeart is still being built and has not yet had an independent accessibility audit. We test as we go, and we will publish the results of a full review before launch.
